Makar is an Associate in the Corporate team. He advises on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, inbound and outbound investments, and intra-group reorganisations. He also assists clients with commercial contracts, shareholder arrangements, corporate governance and directors’ duties.​

He joined the firm in 2025 after completing his training at Hogan Lovells. Makar has broad experience of multi-jurisdictional deals and complex commercial agreements, with a particular focus on the technology, energy and private equity sectors. Before joining the firm, he gained professional experience with a leading global investment-fund data and technology provider, giving him practical insight into data-driven operations and regulatory disclosure workflows in financial services. Clients value his calm, thoughtful manner and clear, reasoned advice tailored to the issues that matter most to their business.​

Outside work, Makar is an avid runner and enjoys travelling to compete in half-marathons abroad.
