Matthew joined Maybrook in 2025 as a legal assistant, providing legal support to the team in drafting and research. 

Before joining the firm, Matthew read history at the University of Cambridge, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Law at City, University of London. Between university terms, Matthew also worked as a freelance translator for major energy firms, and speaks both English and Russian, and has a working proficiency in German.

In his free time, he enjoys playing British and American folk music at sessions around London.
