Biography
Maybrook is led by Zhanna Zenina, an entrepreneurially spirited lawyer with 20+ years of experience and an extensive track record of advising private clients, emerging and established companies. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Moscow State University and a bilingual lawyer qualified to practice in England and Wales, Russia and New York.
Prior to Maybrook, she worked at top law firms in London, New York and Moscow, led an in-house legal team, acted for clients as an independent legal adviser, and co-founded a modern London-based law firm focused on providing legal advice to early-stage start-ups.
Zhanna advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters, including shareholder relations, directors’ and officers’ liability, international corporate structures, debt and equity financings. She has particular interest in contentious and non-contentious legal matters involving the creation, acquisition and use of technology. She has represented private individuals, emerging and established companies in high-profile disputes, and acted for clients in connection with proceedings at the High Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal.
